Highlight the text where you want the link.

Click on the symbol with the Chain Link in it. A new window opens, and you can type in the affiliate link.

Get your code from Amazon. INSTEAD the code ONLY copy the
http:// within the two quotation marks. All the rest of the code is
for creating a banner etc.

You can shorten up the link by using tinyurl.com or snipurl.com


shortening up a link / photos
Some links, including Amazon links are very very long.

Copy that link from Amazon.

Go to tinyurl.com or snipurl.com and insert the very long url link.

Those programs will give back to you an encoded very short link that
you can use in your text or in your url links.

Amazon links - the full HTML of the Amazon links can be inserted as a
video, and it is displayed properly. Of course it is not a video, but
the ad is correctly shown on Tumblr.


A URL is an address on the internet.
Like http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com Thats a URL.
So when it is asking you for a URL, type in the place where
your pictures are on the net. You can use FLickr. I think Ed shows
it in one of his videos. You can also use photobucket.
These are free places where you can upload the pictures on the
interntet for free. Once they are there, each picture will have
its own URL (an address on the internet). here is the link to

For your affiliates, you need to find an affiliate and sign up.
When you do you should be able to find the affiliate ID.
That is the URL.
